Data Center Technical Trainee

Program Overview:
The Data Center Technical Trainee Program is a structured 6–12 month development initiative designed to nurture future data center operations professionals. Trainees will rotate across our various data centers located throughout Singapore to gain hands-on exposure in core operational areas. Through on-the-job training, mentorship, and classroom learning, you will build a solid foundation in both technical and operational aspects of data center management — preparing you for a rewarding career in this dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of senior engineers and managers, trainees will:

• IT Operations Support: Assist with server hardware installation, network cabling, troubleshooting, and inventory management.
• Infrastructure Operations: Learn and support the maintenance and inspection of key facilities such as power systems, cooling systems, and environmental monitoring.
• Asset Management: Participate in the receiving, tracking, inventory, and decommissioning of IT assets (servers, network devices, etc.) within the data center.
• Security Management: Support the implementation of physical security procedures, assist in audits, and help ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher qualification in any field.
• Fresh graduates or individuals with limited work experience are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with backgrounds in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics will have an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, to ensure effective collaboration and understanding of safety and operational procedures.
• Willingness to work at various data center sites across Singapore.
