Database Administrator

• Perform database hardening, administration, and configuration management
• Support application and infrastructure teams with database service requests
• Manage database patching, data extraction, and related operational tasks
• Administer AWS RDS environments, including Microsoft SQL Server (2017 / 2019)Amazon Redshift
• Ensure compliance with audit, security, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with system engineers, cloud engineers, and DBAs to maintain stable environments
• Participate in database implementation and project delivery
• Liaise with BAU and operations teams to support database requirements
• Contribute to disaster recovery (DR) planning and testing

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in database administration
• Proven expertise in Oracle Microsoft SQL Server MySQL
• Experience with high availability (HA) environments, including: Oracle RAC / Data Guard SQL Server Failover Cluster / AlwaysOn
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL databases
• Strong knowledge of Database security, Hardening practices, Compliance standards
