Database Solutions Architect

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for architecture design, product planning, and developing solutions in cloud service Databases products for customers.
• Deeply understand the challenges and directions of digital transformation of related industry services, gain insight into industry development trends, identify customers' key requirements, design Databases product business architectures and application architectures for related industry customers, and connect them to the technical architectures.
• Responsible for the implementation of related industry project solutions, and the planning, deployment, and management of the process.
• Familiar with the capabilities and competitive advantages of Huawei Cloud and Databases products, master the technical parameters and indicators of various technical solutions, optimize the design based on different service requirements, organize technical POC support, and ensure the feasibility of product solutions. Promote the continuous development and improvement of products.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years experience in Oracle or the technology industry and familiar with database, big data,storage and or network security.
• Have a basic command of the database product system of mainstream cloud platforms and database technologies. Have a basic command of one or more databases, such as Oracle, GaussDB, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, TiDB, Oceanbase, TDSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, InfluxDB, and Redis.
• With Oracle Administrator experience or related certification(s) are strongly preferred.
• Have experience in the delivery process of large-scale database projects. Understand the POC verification, project bidding, and delivery process for core customers.
• Be able to independently communicate with customers about technologies.
• Strong product management capabilities, able to integrate different scenarios of multiple services, abstract and summarize core product values, and have overall planning capabilities to form long-term and short-term integrated product solutions.
• Strong solution planning capabilities, able to identify customer requirements through market insight, customer insight, competition analysis, and trend insight, and design competitive cloud solutions that meet customer service scenarios.
• Strong insight and analysis capabilities, able to identify opportunities and challenges brought by industry transformation, technology changes, and strategic adjustment of competitors, and develop corresponding strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized and detail-orientated. Independent, hands-on and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.
• Excellent customer-facing skills. Well-developed spoken and written communication skills and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences, and successfully liaise with people at different levels.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate & communicate with cross teams within the organization.
• Required to travel based on assigned projects.
