Deployment Strategist

Our client is a fast-growing AI transformation and agentic AI platform company helping large enterprises identify, deploy, and scale AI agent use cases across business-critical workflows. The company works with senior enterprise stakeholders to move AI initiatives beyond advisory and into real implementation, product adoption, and measurable business impact.

The Deployment Strategist is a senior hybrid role sitting between strategy, solutioning, implementation, and technical delivery. This person will work directly with enterprise clients to understand business priorities, shape AI transformation opportunities, design practical deployment approaches, and oversee execution together with Forward Deployed Engineers. The role requires someone who can operate at a high strategic level with senior stakeholders, while also being hands-on enough to understand technical trade-offs, implementation details, product limitations, and client-side systems.

Job Description

• Partner with senior enterprise stakeholders to understand business priorities, operational pain points, and opportunities for AI agent deployment.
• Define high-impact AI use cases and shape them into practical solution roadmaps for enterprise clients.
• Lead strategic client conversations while also translating business problems into product, technical, and implementation requirements.
• Own the deployment strategy for client engagements, from initial use case definition through to implementation, adoption, and expansion.
• Work closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to guide technical delivery, integration planning, implementation priorities, and client-side problem solving.
• Oversee end-to-end deployment execution, ensuring solutions are technically feasible, commercially valuable, and aligned with client outcomes.
• Stay close to architecture, integration, workflow design, and system implementation details, especially where client environments are complex.
• Act as the bridge between client executives, business users, technical stakeholders, internal product teams, and FDEs.
• Identify additional use cases and expansion opportunities after initial deployment, supporting the company’s land-and-expand strategy.
• Provide structured guidance to delivery teams, helping prioritise work, unblock implementation challenges, and maintain delivery quality.
• Translate learnings from client deployments into product feedback, repeatable implementation frameworks, and scalable deployment playbooks.
• Represent the company confidently in senior client settings while remaining hands-on and execution-focused throughout delivery.

Requirements

• Strong background in strategy consulting, technology consulting, product strategy, solutioning, enterprise implementation, or AI / digital transformation.
• Experience working with senior enterprise stakeholders to define business problems, shape solutions, and drive implementation.
• Strong technical fluency, with the ability to understand architecture, integrations, APIs, workflows, data flows, system constraints, and implementation trade-offs.
• Proven experience delivering complex projects from strategy through to hands-on execution.
• Ability to guide or oversee technical teams, such as Forward Deployed Engineers, implementation engineers, solution engineers, or product delivery teams.
• Comfortable moving between C-level strategy discussions and detailed delivery conversations with engineers, product teams, and client technical teams.
• Strong project ownership, stakeholder management, and execution capability.
• Product, startup, zero-to-one, or founder/operator experience is highly valuable.
• Prior experience in AI transformation, enterprise SaaS, automation, platform implementation, systems integration, or digital transformation is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify expansion opportunities and build long-term client trust.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, building processes from scratch, and working in a fast-paced founding-team environment.
