Design Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Design Project Manager who is passionate about deliveringexceptional digital experiences. This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end UX/UI design delivery process—from discovery and research through wireframes, visual design, validation and design handoff.

You will partner closely with clients, UX researchers, product strategists and designers to ensure every project is delivered with high design quality, within timeline and budget, while creating meaningful user experiences. Ultimately, you should be able to lead multidisciplinary teams, build strong client partnerships, and deliver digital solutions within quality, timeline and budget expectations while continuously improving the way we work.

Key Responsibilities

• Client & Stakeholder Management - Build trusted relationships with clients and become an extension of their teams. Understand client business objectives, priorities and operating environments. Facilitate executive discussions, workshops and strategic planning sessions. Navigate complex stakeholder groups with confidence, empathy and diplomacy.
• Project Delivery & Execution - Design Delivery & Project Management. Own end-to-end UX/UI design delivery across multiple client engagements. Create and manage design project plans, timelines and resource allocation. Coordinate UX Designers, UI Designers, Researchers, Content
• Designers and Product Strategists - Ensure design deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.Manage design reviews, client feedback cycles and approval processes. Facilitate design workshops, ideation sessions and stakeholder presentations. Identify project risks and resolve blockers impacting design delivery. Ensure smooth collaboration between Design, Product and Engineering during handoff.
• Team Leadership - Lead and mentor multidisciplinary design teams. Balance workloads across UX/UI designers. Foster creativity while maintaining delivery discipline. Promote design excellence and collaboration.
• AI for Design Productivity - Leverage AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, user journey mapping, content creation, workshop preparation and documentation.Use AI to streamline design operations while maintaining human-centred design quality.
• Continuous Improvement - Improve delivery playbooks, project frameworks and operational processes. Standardise best practices and reusable delivery systems. Introduce better project rituals and governance where appropriate. Drive continuous improvement across project management and organisational operations.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design or related field.
• 5+ years managing UX/UI or digital design projects.
• Experience working in design agencies or digital consultancies.
• Strong understanding of UX design methodologies, Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design.
• Experience managing design teams and client stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Figma, FigJam, Miro and design collaboration tools.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong understanding of usability testing and design validation.
• Experience coordinating engineering handoff is preferred.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve design operations and productivity.
