DevOps Engineer

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help build and scale its Azure cloud platform. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD automation, cloud platform reliability, and DevSecOps best practices, supporting the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing technology platforms across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure infrastructure using Terraform.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.

• Drive automation, standardisation, and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.

• Partner with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions.

• Embed security, governance, monitoring, and cost optimisation across the platform.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure and Terraform.

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.

• Knowledge of Azure networking, security, and identity services.

• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and cloud security tooling.
