Enterprise System Engineer (Early Shift)

Overview

Our client is a leading global financial market infrastructure provider looking for an Enterprise Systems Engineer to join their Singapore team. This role will support and improve enterprise infrastructure across Windows Server, VMware, Azure, and Microsoft 365, with a focus on reliability, security, automation, disaster recovery, and compliance within a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support infrastructure across Windows Server, VMware, Azure, and Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Administer core services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, DFS, File Services, and SQL Server.
• Manage VMware vSphere, Horizon VDI, Azure Virtual Desktop, and related enterprise systems.
• Support Microsoft cloud and security tools including M365, Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Defender.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Graph API, and tools such as SCCM.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, observability, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with global infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, and business teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, DFS, File Services, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Defender tools.
• Exposure to VMware vSphere, Horizon VDI, Azure Virtual Desktop, and backup solutions such as Rubrik.
• Good scripting or automation skills using PowerShell; Graph API experience is a plus.
• Understanding of PKI / certificate management and infrastructure security practices.
• Experience in financial services, regulated environments, or global support teams is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
