ERP Platform Engineer (SAP B1)

Job Opportunity

We are looking for a Junior Platform Engineer (SAP Business One) to support the development, customization, and maintenance of our ERP system and related applications. This role is suitable for someone early in their career who is interested in ERP systems, business processes, and software development.

You will work with SAP Business One and assist in improving system functionality, supporting integrations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining SAP Business One solutions using SDK tools (DI API, UI API, or Service Layer).

• Support customization of SAP Business One, including user-defined fields (UDFs), queries, and simple add-ons.

• Help gather user requirements and translate them into basic technical solutions.

• Perform testing and debugging to ensure system changes work as expected.

• Support integration between SAP Business One and other systems (e.g., APIs, web services).

• Troubleshoot basic system issues and escalate when necessary.

• Assist in maintaining documentation for system changes and processes.

• Work with team members across IT and operations to support business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 1–3 years of experience in software/application/platform engineering, software development, system implementation, or enterprise application development.

• Basic knowledge in C#, .NET, or similar programming languages.

• Experience in analysing user requirements and developing software solutions in a structured development environment.

• Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and validation processes.

• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

• Understanding of system integration concepts, including APIs and web services.

Preferred:

• Exposure to SAP Business One (internship, coursework, or project experience).

• Familiarity with APIs or system integrations.

• Basic understanding of business processes (finance, inventory, sales).
