Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build complete web applications, working on both the front-end and back-end using React, Angular, Node.js, and Spring Boot.
• Create easy-to-use, mobile-friendly screens with HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Build and improve APIs and microservices so different systems can connect and work together smoothly.
• Set up and look after cloud systems on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to make releasing software faster and easier.
• Design, manage and ensure the efficient operation of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Package and run applications using Docker and Kubernetes so they can scale up easily.
• Work closely with the team during Agile meetings, using Jira and Confluence to plan work and track progress.
• Keep applications safe and make sure they follow Government data rules and IM8 standards.
• Find and fix problems quickly to keep systems running smoothly and reliably.

Requirements

• Min Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering
• Min 4 years of software development experience working with the Singapore Tech Stack, Agile and Cloud Technology
• Experience in Government related projects or products with strong problem-solving, communication and people skills.
• Knowledge in application operations, audit fieldwork and Problem / Incident Management.
