Full Stack Software Engineer (HR Systems & Web Applications)

Job Summary:

Seeking a full stack engineer to build HR systems and web apps that improve efficiency, digitalisation, and employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop internal HR web applications, including employee portals, onboarding, leave, performance, recruitment, and payroll systems
• Collaborate with developers and HR stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business and operational needs
• Gather and analyse user requirements, translating them into system specifications
• Manage the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies
• Administer and maintain Linux servers in production environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance
• Develop system integrations, automation scripts, and dashboards to streamline HR processes
• Create business intelligence dashboards, reports, and data visualisations
• Implement enhancements through digitalisation, web/mobile solutions, and process automation
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and strong user adoption
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous system improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience in full-stack web application development
• Proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive UI development
• Strong backend development skills in Python (preferred) or PHP
• Solid experience in SQL and PostgreSQL database design and management
• Hands-on experience with Linux server administration (RHEL is an added advantage), including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Git version control and collaborative workflows
• Experience developing automation scripts and workflow solutions using Python
• Familiarity with Linux Cron jobs and task scheduling
• Experience in building dashboards, reports, and data visualisation tools
