Functional Consultant (Healthcare & Oracle ERP Integration) #IFL

Role Summary

We are seeking a Functional Consultant with Healthcare and Oracle ERP experience to support system integration initiatives between Oracle ERP, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and other external applications. The role will focus on gathering business requirements, designing integration solutions, validating system functionality, and ensuring seamless data flow across healthcare and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design & Analysis

• Participate in the design of integrations between Oracle ERP, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and other internal and external applications.
• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and smooth interoperability across integrated systems.
• Analyze business processes and identify integration requirements to support operational and financial workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define functional specifications and integration requirements.

Business Requirements & Process Alignment

• Work closely with business stakeholders, healthcare users, and project teams to gather and document functional requirements.
• Support business processes related to patient management, billing, collections, finance, procurement, inventory, and reporting.
• Ensure integration designs align with operational, regulatory, and business requirements.
• Provide functional guidance and recommendations to improve process efficiency and system utilization.

Testing & Validation

• Develop and execute functional test scenarios and test cases for integration processes.
• Conduct end-to-end testing to validate data flow, transaction accuracy, and system performance.
• Verify that patient records, billing transactions, financial postings, inventory updates, and operational reports are accurately processed across systems.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve functional issues during testing and deployment phases.

Support & Issue Resolution

• Provide ongoing support for integrated systems and business users.
• Investigate and troubleshoot integration-related issues, coordinating with technical teams to implement solutions.
• Support system deployments, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Maintain functional documentation, process flows, and testing artifacts.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle ERP implementation, support, or integration projects.
• Experience working in the healthcare industry, preferably with Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, patient management, billing, collections, finance, and inventory processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
• Knowledge of system integration concepts, interfaces, and data flows between enterprise applications.
• Experience in functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Familiarity with healthcare integration standards such as HL7, FHIR, or related healthcare messaging frameworks.
• Experience with healthcare finance, revenue cycle management, or patient billing systems.
• Knowledge of reporting and data reconciliation processes.
• Exposure to project implementation and system migration initiatives.
