G18 - Project Manager (Software)

Overview

You will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery, governance compliance, operational readiness, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to business requirements.
• Oversee operations, maintenance, and monitoring of systems.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks, including security, resilience, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, and stakeholders for audits and quality management activities.
• Drive project management for complex technical initiatives involving cloud platforms, infrastructure planning, and system integration.
• Partner with Product Managers to manage operational aspects of products and support successful implementation through ongoing operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and support system, user acceptance, and security testing activities before release.
• Support the setup, configuration, and adoption of DevOps tools and environments.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, including audit preparation, incident management, and compliance processes.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery while aligning outcomes with organizational objectives.
• Foster strong collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Infocomm Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of Project Management experience.
• Experience participating in full software or product development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in ambiguous environments.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through and execution skills.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, infrastructure projects, and system integration initiatives.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, release management, and operational support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile Project Management experience.
• Professional certifications such as CITPM, COMIT, PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
• Experience in Audit, Quality Management Systems (QMS), or Portfolio Management.
• Experience working in Government or Public Sector environments.
• Hands-on experience with Confluence, Jira, and DevOps tools.
