Hardware Procurement Specialist (GPU / Server Infrastructure)

Our client is a next-generation AI infrastructure provider building the compute backbone for AI applications — GPU cloud, bare-metal clusters, and model inference services. The company operates its own GPU clusters across multiple data center locations and serves customers primarily across Singapore and Southeast Asia. It is an early-stage, high-growth business where procurement decisions have direct, visible impact on the company's ability to scale.

The Role

We are looking for a Hardware Procurement Specialist to own the sourcing and supply strategy for the company's most critical assets: GPUs, servers, and data center hardware. You will work at the center of the business — where compute supply meets business demand — negotiating directly with hardware suppliers and cloud partners to keep the company's growth engine running.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for GPUs, servers, and AI infrastructure hardware to ensure stable, scalable supply.
• Manage and grow relationships with key suppliers, including GPU manufacturers, NCPs (Neo-Cloud Providers), and server OEMs.
• Lead supplier onboarding, evaluation, and risk classification to strengthen supply resilience.
• Track GPU market dynamics (pricing, availability, new product cycles) and translate them into procurement action.
• Partner closely with engineering, business, and finance teams on compute planning and critical resourcing decisions.
• Build procurement data analysis and reporting processes; document best practices as the function matures.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in server/GPU compute or AI infrastructure procurement; experience with large-scale or complex procurement projects preferred.
• Proven track record in supplier management and commercial negotiation, including complex deal structures.
• Strong understanding of the GPU compute market and supply chain — comfortable making decisions under supply uncertainty.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to operate across engineering, finance, and business stakeholders.
• Data-driven, cost-conscious decision-making style.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); experience working with international suppliers is a plus.
