Team Introduction

Multimedia middle platform (Video Cloud) is one of the world's leading video platforms, supporting the development of multimedia businesses such as video on-demand, live streaming, and real-time communication for all products of ByteDance (including Douyin/TikTok, etc.). It provides an excellent experience for billions of users around the world and continuously builds a higher-definition, more interactive, and more immersive video cloud service. The role of the Head of Byteplus Video Cloud requires an in-depth understanding of video cloud business architecture, helping internal/external business parties deepen product awareness, promote product optimization, and output the best solution in combination with product capabilities and market demands. That helps Video Cloud achieve commercial success in the global markets.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and formulate the business goals, market and product strategies of the video cloud, and ensure the achievement of business goals.

- Lead the video cloud product and solution team, create and continuously enhance product competitiveness, combine with market and customer needs, output best practices and product solutions, and help customers succeed in their businesses.

- Have a deep understanding of the development trends of the video industry and technology, and establish and continuously enhance the influence of Byteplus video cloud in global markets.

- Establish good cooperative relationships with sales, SE, R&D, and other teams to ensure effective support in the commercialization and promotion of video cloud products

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

-Proven experience with technology and products of Video Cloud, with experience in planning and managing multiple types of Video Cloud Product Forms, such as Iaas/PaaS/SaaS

-Bachelor's degree or above in computer-related majors is required

-Proficiency in business communication and public speaking skills, have rich experience in global customer management and service

Preferred Qualifications

-Minimum 5 years of experience in the Video Cloud industry and the global market, with business success stories of 0-1 products and 1 billion + revenue scale

-Minimum 5 years of management experience, able to effectively manage multi-functional/cross-regional teams, and have a strong ability to collaborate and drive across departments
