Infra Security Support Engineer (Contract)

Job Overview:

• We are seeking an Infrastructure Support Security Engineer to support the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and security of IT infrastructure.
• You will assist in system monitoring, troubleshooting, cybersecurity operations, and infrastructure enhancements to ensure a secure and reliable IT environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure and systems.
• Perform routine system checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support server, network, and cybersecurity operations.
• Respond to and escalate infrastructure and security incidents where required.
• Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and performance optimisation.
• Maintain technical documentation and incident records.
• Support vulnerability assessments and cybersecurity compliance activities.
• Provide technical support to users and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in an on-call standby roster, including after office hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, VMware or Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability management, and system security.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willing to participate in an on-call standby roster.
