Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of IT, you shall be responsible to:

• Assist to manage IT projects for existing infrastructure enhancement and new infrastructure implementations
• Support and provide consultation on network related issues within the Company
• Able to manage on-going system changes, Windows server and system backup
• Provide helpdesk support to users, assist to set up lap/desk top, email accounts, telephone, system and folders access for new joins
• Perform daily administration and operational support in the area of network, security and voice over IP
• Develop and maintain operational procedures to ensure service reliability, security and user productivity
• Monitor network usage and performance to ensure system availability and stability
• Able to implement and configure network solutions, involving LAN/VoIP/VLAN
• Prepare documents and procedures for entire infrastructure

Job Requirements:

• A recognized Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant qualification.
• CCNA certification would be an added advantage
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in IT support environment, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge in computer networking and administration in servers and SQL in Microsoft Window platforms
• Hands-on in BCP and DR site support is a must
• Familiar with network equipment configuration such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto etc, network security / LAN / VoIP and routing technologies solutions
• Able to work independently and as a team
• A fast leaner with great initiative and positive learning attitude
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
