Infrastructure Engineer, Global

Position Overview

As an Engineer, IT Infrastructure you will provide technical support, implementation, and maintenance of Vantage’s enterprise IT infrastructure. You will work on system configurations, troubleshooting, and operational tasks to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient infrastructure systems. This role focuses on applying technical skills to support enterprise platforms and maintain high availability of critical IT services.

Essential Job Functions

• Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting infrastructure systems.

• Support system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.

• Assist with infrastructure integration and ensure proper data flow across applications.

• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to implement technical solutions.

• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.

• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security, escalating issues as needed.

• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for infrastructure platforms.

• Follow IT policies, security protocols, and compliance requirements in all activities.

• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• 2–5 years of IT experience in system administration, infrastructure engineering, or technical support roles.

• Technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure platforms including networking, compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with data governance, security standards, and compliance requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• English language proficiency is required, including the ability to speak, read, and write at a business level, due to collaboration with a global team.

• Experience supporting enterprise IT environments or mission-critical infrastructure preferred.

• Data center, cloud, or high-availability operations experience preferred, but not required.

• Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
