Infrastructure Manager (Banking)

You will be leading a technical support team of 5 members for a financial institution to provide infrastructure (systems , database, application) support to critical infrastructure and application

Responsibilities

• Leading a team to provide level 2 support for server and database infrastructure
• Ensuring smooth running of infra (Windows, database, network)
• Managing Incidents and issues related to systems and applications under remit
• Involved in leading the team to perform root cause analysis
• Carrying out automation of processes
• Ensuring timefly resolution especially for high severity incidents to business users
• Provide management reporting
• Ensuring processes are followed

Requirements

• Min 12 years of experience with min 7 years in managing infrastructure support role
• Prior experience in leading support team in banking industry is preferred
• Comes from strong technical background, able to perform troubleshooting if required
• A hands on lead / manager with current technical skills in windows, and database
• Prior experience in automation using windows (scripting) and vbscript
• Experience in troubleshooting windows systems issues
• Experience with database is a bigplus
• Good experience in incident and problem management
• STrong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
