Intermediate JAVA Developer

We are seeking an Intermediate Java Developer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java technologies.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and production issue resolution.
• Implement performance optimization, security, and software quality best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services, and Microservices.
• Working knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, and web application development.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as JMS or IBM MQ.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of version control and DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, or Ansible.
• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, MongoDB, Control-M, GitLab, Jira, or Confluence.
• Experience supporting Capital Markets, Trading, or Financial Services applications.
• Knowledge of financial products such as FX, Bonds, Treasury Products, Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Products, or Repo and Securities Financing.
