IT Assistant

We are looking for an IT Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of our IT infrastructure across the company. The hire will be responsible for maintaining hardware, software, network systems, security, and providing technical support to users.

·      Monitor system performance and ensure network, system, and endpoint security.

·      Maintain and support hardware, software, servers, and internal IT infrastructure.

·      Administer and maintain internal systems including door access, parking, and telephony systems.

·      Maintain CCTV and Wi-Fi network infrastructure.

·      Provide remote and onsite technical support to employees and customers, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

·      Log, monitor, and resolve support requests through the company's ticketing system.

·      Maintain accurate network diagrams, floor plans, system inventories, and technical documentation.

·      Perform software installation, system upgrades, backups, and routine preventive maintenance.

·      Liaise with external vendors and service providers for IT equipment and support when required.

·      Carry out any other ad hoc duties assigned by the company from time to time.

Requirements

·      Minimum 3 years of relevant IT support experience.

·      Experience with Windows desktop and Windows Server administration.

·      Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft365.

·      Familiarity with networking, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, telephony systems, and endpoint security.

·      Knowledge of PHP, CSS, HTML, CMS, or website administration will be an advantage.

·      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

·      Good communication skills with a positive attitude.
