Job Description - IT Assistant (Helpdesk / North)

Job Summary:

Join a dynamic IT team providing end-user support and regional system maintenance across infrastructure, applications, and security operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, network, and system issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, OS, and business applications
  • Troubleshoot and support peripherals (printers, scanners, monitors) and user endpoints
  • Perform software updates, patching, and system troubleshooting
  • Deliver on-site and remote support across local and regional offices
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and profiles (Microsoft 365, Azure AD, ERP)
  • Handle password resets, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding activities
  • Support administration of Active Directory, servers, and IT infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance, logs, and ensure system availability
  • Troubleshoot network, infrastructure, and application-related issues
  • Support system deployments, upgrades, and new technology rollouts
  • Provide support and issue resolution for SAP and business applications
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, lifecycle tracking, and conduct audits
  • Liaise with vendors for repairs, replacements, and service coordination
  • Support IT security policies, updates, access controls, and compliance initiatives
  • Assist with regional IT projects, migrations, and system implementations
  • Support CCTV systems and related security technology maintenance
  • Prepare reports and maintain IT documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, infrastructure, or system administration.
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, operating systems, enterprise applications, and remote support tools.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Willing to support regional IT activities when required.
