ROLE PURPOSE

• To support DHL’s regional business and IT teams by analyzing business needs and assisting in the delivery of standardized, reliable IT solutions that improve operational efficiency, visibility, and customer experience across the region.
• The IT Business Analyst will support the regional Business IT teams by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and assisting in the delivery of IT and digital solutions that enable reliable, efficient, and customer‑centric operations.
• The role contributes to process standardization, data visibility, and technology enablement across the region, ensuring solutions are aligned with DHL global platforms, regional needs, and operational excellence objectives, while developing core business analysis capabilities.

KEY TASKS

1. Business & Requirements Analysis

• Support the documentation and validation of business and IT requirements
• Assist in translating business needs into functional requirements, user stories, or basic specifications
• Document business processes, workflows, and data requirements
• Maintain requirement traceability and documentation repositories

2. Data, Reporting & Analytics Support

• Assist in defining basic data and reporting requirements 
• Support validation of data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Help maintain data definitions, metrics, and report documentation
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for reports, dashboards, and systems

3. Solution Delivery Support

• Work with IT, data, and development teams to clarify requirements
• Support testing activities, issue tracking, and resolution follow‑up
• Assist with rollout activities and transition of solutions into business-as-usual
• Ensure documentation is updated and maintained throughout delivery

4. Regional Coordination

• Support regional alignment by following global standards, processes, and templates
• Assist with coordinating inputs across countries, functions, or business units
• Track action items, risks, and dependencies for regional initiatives

5. Continuous Learning & Improvement

• Learn business analysis, data, and IT delivery best practices
• Identify small improvement opportunities in processes, reports, or documentation
• Develop understanding of regional business operations and KPIs

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
• Relevant coursework or project experience in business analysis, data analytics, or systems design is an advantage
• 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, IT, or a related field (including internship or graduate program)
• Familiarity with requirements documentation and/or process mapping
• Basic understanding of data, reporting, and dashboarding concepts
• Experience working with cross-functional or regional teams is preferred
• Exposure to enterprise, regional, or multinational environments is an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
