IT Engineer (CIM/MES)

Overview

Our client is a leading organization within the semiconductor manufacturing industry and is currently looking for an IT CIM Engineer to join their team in Singapore.

This role will focus on the development, implementation, and ongoing support of factory manufacturing systems, particularly MES and EAP platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with production users and cross-functional stakeholders to support system implementation, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of factory MES systems, covering requirements analysis, system development, machine testing, and go-live activities.

• Support the development and implementation of EAP systems, including requirements gathering, development, equipment testing, and production rollout.

• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on production-related IT system projects.

• Perform system configuration, functional testing, deployment, and implementation support.

• Provide ongoing system operation and maintenance support following system go-live.

• Troubleshoot system issues and work closely with end users to resolve operational and technical problems.

• Drive continuous system optimization and enhancements to ensure stable and efficient system performance.

• Prepare and maintain standardized system and technical documentation.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.

• At least 1 year of experience supporting, implementing, or managing MES systems within the semiconductor industry.

• Familiarity with manufacturing systems and modules such as MES, EAP, YMS, reporting systems, or other related factory management platforms.

• Hands-on software development experience with at least one programming language, such as Python or C#.

• Good understanding of B/S and C/S application architectures.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with end users and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
