Job Summary
The IT Executive is responsible for managing and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. This role drives technology improvements, implements IT solutions, and promotes AI tool adoption to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Identify and implement technology-driven improvements to optimize business processes across departments
Manage IT hardware, software, assets, user accounts, and system access to ensure operational continuity
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and controls to protect company data security and integrity
Provide timely technical support by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and system issues for end-users
Collaborate with HR, Finance, Sales, Customer Care, Laboratory, Operations, and Management to assess technology needs and propose effective solutions
Support development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal systems, workflow tools, dashboards, and automation solutions
Guide and train users on responsible adoption and use of AI-enabled tools, providing documentation as needed
Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business goals
Evaluate and manage vendor, software provider, and service partner relationships to optimize IT resources
Monitor emerging technologies, AI applications, cybersecurity trends, and digital tools to assess their relevance and potential benefits
Perform additional IT-related duties or projects as assigned by senior management
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
2 to 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related IT functions
Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity best practices
Good understanding of data protection, cybersecurity, and responsible digital/AI tool usage
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support users across diverse departments
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project coordination skills
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Exposure to AI tools, automation platforms, low-code/no-code tools, data analytics, dashboard development, or internal system development
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, cybersecurity, project management, cloud platforms, or AI/digital transformation-related certifications
Ability to translate user requirements into practical IT or automation solutions
Self-directed learner comfortable with new systems and AI tools
Careful management of confidential company data and user access controls
Service-oriented, proactive approach working effectively with both technical and non-technical users
