IT Executive (Contract)

The IT executive supports the smooth operation of LFS to ensures the organisation can continue to serve their social service users. You implement and maintain servers, storage and network equipment, and provide day-to-day IT support for seamless communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage procurement activities for IT equipment and services
• Liaise with vendors, obtain quotations, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Track contract deliverables, renewal timelines, and vendor performance.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets including issuance, movement, return, and disposal.
• Ensure assets are tagged, documented, and maintained according to organizational policies.
• Generate reports for internal reviews and audits.
• Provide Level 1 IT Helpdesk support (e.g., password resets, printer issues, software installation).
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 1-3 years of relevant working experience preferred.
• Good understanding of IT procurement and contract administration processes.
• Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle management.
• Basic knowledge of networking, IT systems, and software tools.
• Hands-on experience with common Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with vendors and supporting end-users.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with good documentation habits.
• A customer-centric mindset and willingness to learn.
