IT Executive / Senior Executive / Manager

We are looking for qualified IT Personnel who will be in charge to execute the IT strategy to support our expansion and improvement plans and maintain existing computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality.

The role supports the business objectives by implementing best practices and oversees compliance of policies and procedures while providing support to the users.

Key areas of responsibility include IT infrastructure, applications, service delivery, and technology enhancement.

The successful candidate must also have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

The goal is to work in a team to support, build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and configuration of appropriate software and functions according to specifications, perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.)
• Setting up new users’ workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.) and management of security, passwords, and backup of GDS and back-office system
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on the operation of new software and computer equipment or related IT problems
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule, records of software licenses and all IT-related assets, maintaining IP telephonic system
• Implement IT strategies and initiatives to deliver an IT roadmap, aligned with organizational objectives and priorities.
• Drive applications, data centre and network efficiency through review and enhancement of end-to-end processes.
• Define and administer back-up and disaster recovery procedures and information security and control structures.
• Conduct regular system audits.
• Monitor trends, research, recommend and manage system upgrades and new initiatives.
• Plan, define, and oversee scope, timeline, and resource for IT projects.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure effective, efficient, and economical execution of projects and on-going operations.
• Plan and manage IT Budget, business case and IT assets.
• Develop and implement IT policy, procedures, governance, and best practice.

Pre-requisites:

• Minimum a Diploma in IT with 5 years’ experience in the IT profession, preferably in Travel Industry
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends like cyber security, etc
• Knowledge of Office 365 operation
• Strong written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, evidenced by the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Able to work extended hours when required
• Attention to detail, along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality
• Enthusiasm for continual learning
