IT Infrastructure Lead

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of IT infrastructure across corporate IT, including 5G networks, systems, and cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Oversee and manage network, systems, virtualization, storage, and Microsoft 365 environments, including hybrid identity solutions.
• Drive infrastructure operations, including monitoring and performance optimization, leveraging tools such as Grafana, Zabbix, PRTG, and Nagios.
• Manage incident response processes, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and adherence to ITSM best practices.
• Implement and enforce security controls such as network segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, and NAC, alongside system hardening, patching, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) and SIEM onboarding, ensuring proper governance and maintaining infrastructure lifecycle documentation.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing infrastructure and end-user computing team, including L1/L2 support functions.
• Manage team performance, workload distribution, coaching, and talent development initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT infrastructure services with organizational needs and expectations.
• Deliver infrastructure projects within defined scope, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Manage external vendors, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Support technology evaluations, roadmap development, and RFP/tender processes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience in network technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and NAC.
• Proven experience with enterprise technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Microsoft solutions.
• Solid expertise in systems and infrastructure, including Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, and storage platforms.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools, backup solutions, and ITSM platforms.
• Experience in implementing security controls, system hardening, and working within compliance-driven environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and container technologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, IMDA TCS, and CCoP.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, RHCE, or VCP; cybersecurity certifications are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Prior experience in regulated industries is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and present to senior management and C-suite stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
