Overall job objectives

• Identify, develop and implement IT strategies and solutions to achieve the business objectives
• Implement an effective backup strategy for data preservation and recovery

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of all system applications, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision
• Provide support for any computing problem or request, which is raised by the internal customers including the executive management team, or escalate for external IT vendors’ support
• Develop system support and development plans
• Plan, and develop all IT-related activities to ensure organizational infrastructure requirements are met strategically
• Responsible for the evaluation, testing, installation and maintenance of the company’s IT system
• Fine-tune or design and develop programs which aid in the internal operations of the company’s system and integrate into the company’s business model
• In charge of web system development and project schedule
• Participate in other IT support projects as defined from time to time

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years relevant IT experience in a similar and managerial capacity
• At least three years of DB development experience in Database and MS-SQL
• Architecture design experience in infrastructure including networks, servers and email systems
• Vendor management and negotiation skills
• Experience in system development and developing at least one e-commerce website from conceptualization to implementation on the Microsoft platform would be advantageous
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
