IT Project Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Executive to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex IT initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.

• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.

• Resource Allocation: Allocate and manage resources effectively to achieve project objectives.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.

• Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.

• Agile Practices: Facilitate agile practices such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives where applicable.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, logs, and post-project evaluations.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience:

• 1-3+ years of experience as an IT Project Executive or in a related role.

• Proven experience managing software development or IT infrastructure projects.

• Skills:

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT systems, software development lifecycles, and relevant tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project).

• Certifications: Agile or SCRUM certifications are highly desirable.
