IT Project Manager (Aviation) - 12 months Contract

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the teams during the pre-contract phases (qualification, proposal, and contract).
• Generate and manage the project plan (milestones), resource plan (personnel), budget, and risk register (identify, analyze, and quantify risks).
• Manage the project budget, including Profit & Loss and cash, and submit monthly Project Financial forecasts throughout the full lifecycle to maintain or increase profit margins.
• Validate all scope and financial impact changes with line management, the Project Review Board, and the Sponsor (for large and complex projects if appointed).
• Provide workload forecasts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle and support the Account Manager and Business Management in meeting commercial objectives.
• Generate Change Requests, ensuring alignment with project governance standards to reduce miscommunication risk and ensure traceability of decisions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Formal project management training and certification, PMP certification recommended.
• Ideally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, demonstrating proficiency in managing 'standard' projects with full budget responsibility in a commercial environment, following a proven Project Management methodology.
• Experience in an IT solutions provider environment, preferably with knowledge of air transport products and underlying technologies.
• Familiarity with the IT and ATI industries, including an understanding of economic drivers within these sectors.
• Ability to organize, coordinate, and influence virtual teams focused on delivery and support within an international environment.
