IT Project Manager (Network Infrastructure)

Role Overview

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead enterprise network infrastructure projects across LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Centre, Cloud Connectivity, and Network Security environments. The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery while working closely with technical teams to support network design, implementation, migration, and optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives are met.

• Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, Data Centre, and Cloud environments.

• Coordinate network migrations, upgrades, refreshes, and deployment activities.

• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation processes.

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.

• Oversee vendor management, procurement activities, and service delivery performance.

• Prepare project plans, status reports, and project documentation.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and application teams to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Network Engineering, or Project Management roles.

• Experience managing infrastructure or network-related projects.

• Knowledge of:

  • Cisco Routing & Switching

  • WAN / SD-WAN

  • Wireless Networks

  • Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco)

  • Load Balancers (F5)

  • VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP

  • Data Centre and Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure)

• Strong understanding of network architecture, troubleshooting, and infrastructure operations.

• Experience managing stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.

• Relevant networking certifications (e.g. CCNP, CCIE) will be an advantage.

• Experience delivering network infrastructure projects in enterprise environments will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management practices will be an advantage.
