IT Security Governance Lead – Elite Financial Firm - J13001

We are partnering with a leading financial services firm to hire a Security Governance Lead for its Singapore office.

This role will own the cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, and assurance framework across the firm.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the cybersecurity policy framework, standards, and SOPs
• Manage cyber / technology risk registers, exceptions, and remediation tracking
• Build and run control effectiveness testing and assurance processes
• Maintain audit-ready evidence and support internal/external audit or regulatory reviews
• Map controls against MAS TRM, MAS Notice 658, and relevant security frameworks
• Oversee third-party, software, and AI tool risk assessments
• Prepare KRI / KPI reporting for senior management and governance forums
• Work closely with Cybersecurity, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams

Requirements:

• 6–10+ years’ experience across cybersecurity governance, technology risk, IT GRC, risk assurance, or technology audit
• Strong knowledge of MAS TRM and MAS Notice 658
• Experience with control testing, risk registers, audit readiness, and remediation tracking
• Financial services experience required
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, or similar control frameworks
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 are preferred
• Hands-on, detail-driven, and comfortable working in a lean environment
