IT System Engineer Mon - Fri Basic $3,000 West / North / Central

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Respond to and resolve end-user inquiries related to hardware, operating systems, printers, and standard desktop applications.

• Log and manage support tickets, ensuring all issues and resolutions are properly documented in the ticketing system.

• Troubleshoot and set up PC hardware, laptops, Microsoft Windows, Office 365, VPN, wireless networks, internet browsers, and Outlook email.

• Offer hands-on assistance for basic desktop needs and provide user training when necessary.

• Support and maintain both internal and external software applications.

• Assist in identifying and implementing new applications to improve business operations.

• Take on additional tasks or projects as assigned by your superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, or any related field.

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in IT support or a similar role.

• Preferably at Junior Executive level with a background in IT/Computer – Software or equivalent.

• Hands-on experience in supporting PCs, laptops, and hardware peripherals.

• Familiar with MS Windows, Microsoft Office (O365), internet browsers, and antivirus software.

• Experience in setting up printers, Outlook email clients, VPN, and wireless network connections.

• Knowledge of Active Directory, basic TCP/IP troubleshooting, and network support.

• Good problem-solving skills and able to communicate well with end-users.

• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks when needed.
