IT Systems Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive IT Systems Engineer to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across both cloud and on-premiseenvironments. This role will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of critical IT systems while supporting daily operations and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies, server administration, and cloud platforms, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & System Administration

• Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and messaging platforms.
• Perform server installation, configuration, patch management, and system upgrades.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability to ensure business continuity.

Operational Support

• Provide technical support for internal IT systems and infrastructure-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server, application, and system performance issues.
• Support daily IT operations and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Work closely with users and stakeholders to address technical requirements.

Security & Compliance

• Maintain system security controls and ensure compliance with established IT policies and standards.
• Support security reviews, audits, and infrastructure hardening initiatives.
• Ensure system configurations align with operational and compliance requirements.

Documentation & Projects

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
• Participate in infrastructure enhancement and technology implementation projects.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the IT environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and Exchange environments.
• Strong knowledge of server administration, system monitoring, and infrastructure support.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across enterprise IT systems.
• Familiarity with IT security practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of system backup, patch management, and disaster recovery processes.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure projects and system migrations.
• Understanding of ISO 27001 or related IT governance and security standards.
