Job Description - L2 Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a motivated L2 Application Support Engineer to join our operations and support team. You will play a critical role where you will manage incident investigations, perform deep technical troubleshooting, and help maintain high availability and performance across production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Level 2 support for production and staging environments, managing escalations from Level 1 and ensuring timely resolution
  • Diagnose application faults, system alerts, performance issues, and integration failures using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools
  • Restore services within defined SLA/OLA targets and ensure incidents are fully documented and properly closed
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring or high-impact incidents, implementing corrective and preventive measures
  • Collaborate with L3, DevOps, and external vendors while proactively monitoring system health to identify and mitigate potential issues

Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in helpdesk, application support, or technical support roles
  • Proven track record in maintaining and supporting business-critical production systems
  • Strong hands-on experience with: Application log analysis and monitoring tools (e.g. AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, Google Analytics, etc)
