Lead Engineer (Network)

Job Responsibilities

• Instrumental part of implementation of the network components for all data centers which may host gaming related systems
• Responsible to install & configure network equipment, manage and maintain network and associated security.
• Manage and monitor network utilization and performance.
• Follow established processes used by the team and participate in regular process reviews.
• Escalate any unsolved issues to management in a timely manner.
• Report performance issues when the business is being impacted.
• Work with vendors and project management team to implement and complete projects.
• Maintain service standards defined in SLAs.
• Provide support to the IT support team to resolve issue associated with the network and network components.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Formal training and certification in Network Management & Design.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years hands-on experience with network support.
• Strong experience with network switching/routing &/or firewalls configuration and management.
• Experience in network hardware/software troubleshooting / performance tuning.
• Experience in firewall support, maintenance & troubleshooting support.
• Experience supporting and maintain a medium to large scale network.
• Experience with HP Procurve &/or Check Point Firewalls extremely advantageous

Other Pre-requisites:

• Knowledge in network design & implementation.
• Troubleshooting techniques.
• Able to handle multiple tasks
• Good communication skills
