Lead Technical Manager (Security Systems)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Manager to oversee the delivery, maintenance, and support of integrated security systems. This role is responsible for leading a team of technical professionals, ensuring the successful execution of installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service operations while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Technical Officers and Service Engineers responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, programming, servicing, and maintenance of security systems.
• Oversee daily service and maintenance operations to ensure timely completion of projects and service commitments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers on all technical service and maintenance matters.
• Develop service plans, allocate resources, monitor project milestones, and ensure efficient workforce deployment.
• Coordinate and supervise multiple concurrent service activities while maintaining quality and operational standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing effective technical support and delivering excellent customer service.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve service processes, operational workflows, documentation, and technical standards.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, maintenance records, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance their technical capabilities and professional development.
• Establish performance objectives, monitor team performance, and support staff development initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues and customer escalations in a timely and professional manner.
• Evaluate customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Support business development activities by providing technical expertise during customer engagements when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in technical operations, service delivery, or maintenance management.
• Prior experience leading or supervising technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm, intercom, or other electronic security solutions will be highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.
• Strong planning, coordination, and resource management abilities.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-driven, organised, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset.
