This role is based out of Singapore and is responsible for leading the Business Development Representative function across APAC, including Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand.
As the APAC BDR Manager, you will hire, onboard, and mentor outbound BDRs across the region, partner closely with sales leadership, and drive qualified pipeline creation and team performance. This role reports to the Director, Business Development.
Train members of the BDR team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.
Improve team performance over time through coaching, feedback, and recurring weekly 1:1s.
Plan for hiring and onboarding new BDRs across the APAC region.
Partner closely with Events and Digital teams on field events, targeted advertising, and nurture campaigns.
Work with Sales Development leadership and Sales Development Operations to improve opportunity management and qualification processes.
Collaborate with Sales leaders to identify key target accounts and territories across APAC.
Partner with Content, Marketing Program Managers, and Product Marketing to develop effective outbound messaging for assigned accounts.
5+ years of experience in business development, sales development, sales, or demand generation for a B2B technology company.
2+ years of experience managing or leading outbound BDR/SDR teams, with a track record of coaching reps and driving new logo pipeline.
Experience managing teams focused on commercial accounts.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Additional proficiency in languages relevant to the APAC region (e.g. Bahasa Indonesia and/or Mandarin) is preferred where you will support customer engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and relationship-building across key APAC markets.
Strong understanding of APAC market dynamics, including experience supporting Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand.
Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
Experience with sales operations and/or marketing automation software is preferred.
Experience in B2B software is required; experience in DevSecOps, developer tools, open source, cloud, cybersecurity, or adjacent technical products is strongly preferred.
