Mobile Application Test Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform testing on multiple platforms – Android and iOS
• Author Test Plan, design complex test cases, review the test cases
• Participates in the full SDLC/Agile cycle engagements, including meetings, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions.
• Perform UAT/regression testing for all enhancement and/or patch releases against documented specifications.
• Perform UAT/regression testing against APIs and Web Services using internal and external tools, Web portals, and reports.
• Perform UAT/regression testing for iOS and Android on emulators and hardware devices.
• Extract appropriate logs and gather diagnostic information for issues encountered during testing
• Develop testing tools and resources to aid in testing efforts.
• Collaborate daily with the Development and Product teams to ensure that quality acceptance criteria is met
• Use feedback from all stakeholders to expand test scenarios
• Prepare iteration report and give recommendation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of mobile testing experiences
• Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Passion and highly motivated and with user driven mindset
• Good time management and a self-started who is independent and takes initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with multiple groups
• Ability to multi-task in a very dynamic environment.
• Determine best-value for test strategy on new feature requirements; create test for chosen strategy
• Understanding of Android/iOS specific technologies and challenges
• Familiarity with an Agile environment
