Mobile QA (Manual and Automation Testing)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mobile App Manual & Automation QA Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile applications, web platforms, backend APIs, and SDKs through both manual and automated testing.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software while leveraging modern automation and AI-assisted testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain automation frameworks for mobile applications (Android and iOS) using Appium and web applications using Selenium.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Test REST APIs and backend services using Postman (SoapUI experience is a plus).
• Validate SDK functionality and ensure seamless integration for developers.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in release validation, production verification, and quality assurance activities.
• Analyze test results and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
• Contribute to CI/CD testing processes and improve automation coverage.
• Utilize AI-powered tools (such as GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted testing platforms) to enhance test creation, maintenance, and defect detection.
• Stay up to date with emerging QA technologies, automation frameworks, and AI-driven testing practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile application testing and automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Appium and Selenium.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience using bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing both Android and iOS applications.
• Familiarity with Xcode and Android Studio.
• Experience validating SDKs and software integrations.
• Knowledge of SoapUI and API automation.
• Basic understanding of NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools, intelligent automation, self-healing test frameworks, or GitHub Copilot.
