.Net Test Engineer (Up to $6k AWS VB) [0580]

Working Location: AMK@Link (Yio Chu Kang MRT)

Working hours: 8.30am to 6.15pm, 5-days week

Salary Range: $4,000 - $6,000 + AWS + VB

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET applications.
• Design and execute automated tests using frameworks such as MSTest, NUnit, xUnit.net, or SpecFlow.
• Perform manual testing as necessary, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs to resolution using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality from a testing perspective.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in C# programming language and .NET frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET Core, MVC).
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as MSTest, NUnit, xUnit.net, SpecFlow, Selenium WebDriver, or similar.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of database testing techniques and ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) are advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer or Quality Assurance Engineer, specifically in testing .NET applications.
