Network & System Engineer (HSM)

Our client is an independent vendor solutions provider specializing in distributing network infrastructure, enterprise security solutions, and Hardware Security Modules (HSM). They are looking for a technically competent engineer to support both presales activities and the deployment of enterprise security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide presales support for networking, system infrastructure, NTP, and enterprise security solutions.
• Work with enterprise security technologies such as Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Key Management Systems (KMS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and encryption solutions.
• Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot network, system, and security solutions.
• Support customer Proof of Concepts (PoCs), solution demonstrations, and technical evaluations.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, tender responses, and technical compliance documentation.
• Perform installation, integration, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux-based infrastructure.
• Support database installation and integration, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL where required.
• Assist with cloud deployment and integration projects across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), where applicable.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide technical recommendations to enhance the company's solution portfolio.
• Work closely with technology partners and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide post-implementation technical support and issue resolution for customers.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in presales, implementation, or technical support for enterprise networking, infrastructure, or cybersecurity solutions.
• Candidates who are technical but has experiences doing presales/post sales activities can apply too.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including: Active Directory (Domain Controller/DNS/DHCP/LDAP/RADIUS/AAA/Microsoft Certificate Authority (PKI)
• Experience working in Windows, Linux, and/or UNIX environments.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as switching, routing, and TCP/IP. CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience supporting customer demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), technical presentations, or solution implementation.
• Familiarity with Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Key Management Systems (KMS), or encryption technologies will be an advantage.
• Experience with enterprise databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL is advantageous.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn new technologies.
