Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Security Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and maintain secure network infrastructure across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, network monitoring, and cybersecurity best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage secure network infrastructure
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and security breaches
• Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits
• Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system integration
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
• Perform patch management and firmware upgrades
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards
• Generate security reports and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Networking, or related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in network/security engineering
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP
• Experience with firewalls such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, or Check Point Software Technologies
• Knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN, and zero-trust security models
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus

• CISSP
• Palo Alto PCNSE
• Fortinet NSE

• Firewalls and UTM appliances
• Wireshark
• Splunk
• Nessus
• SolarWinds
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) platforms

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
• Team collaboration and problem-solving mindset
