Performance Test Engineer (2 Years Contract)

Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, is looking for an experienced Non-Functional Test Engineer to join its technology team. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in performance testing, load testing, resiliency testing, and API testing within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute non-functional test scenarios for enterprise applications.
• Perform performance, load, stress, scalability, and resiliency/failover testing to validate system reliability.
• Execute both manual and automated non-functional testing activities.
• Analyse test results and provide recommendations to improve system performance and stability.
• Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Prepare detailed test reports, performance metrics, and documentation.
• Ensure applications meet non-functional requirements and quality standards before production deployment.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in Non-Functional Testing within enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Performance Testing
• Load & Stress Testing
• Scalability Testing
• Resiliency / Failover Testing
• REST API Testing
• GUI Performance Testing
• IBM MQ Testing
• Experience using performance testing and automation tools.
• Good scripting knowledge using Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Strong experience working in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
