Performance Testing

About the Role

We are seeking a Performance Testing Engineer with 1 Year in Performance Testing or Performance Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing performance tests, analyzing results, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal application performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute performance testing activities including Load, Stress, Endurance, and Volume Testing.
• Assist in performance test planning, test scenario creation, and test case design.
• Analyze performance test results and identify application, database, or infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Monitor system performance metrics such as CPU, Memory, Disk I/O, Network Utilization, and application response times.
• Support defect tracking, troubleshooting, and performance tuning efforts with development and operations teams.
• Prepare performance testing reports and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure performance requirements are met.
• Participate in test automation and continuous performance testing initiatives where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 months to 3 years of experience in Performance Testing or Performance Engineering.
• Basic understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in executing Load, Stress, and Endurance Tests.
• Exposure to test planning, test design, execution, and defect management processes.
• Experience analyzing test results and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and analysis tools.
• Experience with LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) including:Web/HTTP ProtocolTruClientWeb Services
• Basic programming knowledge in C, C++, or Java.
• Understanding of system architecture and performance tuning fundamentals.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and performance testing integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in Performance Testing or Quality Engineering will be advantageous.
