Platform Engineer

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.

The candidate will play a key role in building and supporting modern platform engineering solutions, container orchestration environments, CI/CD automation, API gateways, observability platforms, and middleware ecosystems while collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Job Requirement: 

• Candidate shall preferably possess a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Design, deploy, administer, and support Kubernetes-based container platforms such as OpenShift, Rancher, AKS, and EKS.
• Manage platform components including ingress controllers, storage, registries, load balancers, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, Argo CD, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Deploy and manage enterprise API Gateway platforms including Apigee, IBM API Connect, and Kong Gateway.
• Manage API life cycle processes including API design, deployment, versioning, security, publishing, and monitoring.
• Install, configure, and support middleware platforms including IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss,Tomcat, and IBM MQ.
• Implement enterprise monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Datadog, Azure Monitor, and CloudWatch.
