Power BI Analyst

Our client is a global pharmaceutical MNC with a healthy and good pipeline.

The Business Intelligence Analyst (Power BI) is responsible for designing, developing, and managing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to support commercial and sales force effectiveness across the JAPAC region within a pharmaceutical environment. The role plays a key part in transforming complex data into meaningful insights to support decision-making, performance tracking, and business strategy. This position also supports broader data initiatives including KPI reporting, incentive calculations, and management analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for regional commercial teams.
• Manage Power BI datasets, data models, workspaces, gateways, and scheduled data refresh processes.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting outputs across all dashboards.
• Optimize dashboard performance, usability, and visual design for business stakeholders.
• Develop standardized reporting frameworks and visualization best practices.

• Support sales force effectiveness (SFE) reporting and commercial performance analysis.
• Develop dashboards and reports covering: Sales performance tracking, KPI monitoring, Call activity analysis, Territory performance, Adoption and utilization metrics, Incentive and compensation calculations
• Partner with commercial stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions and actionable insights.

• Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple systems and data sources.
• Support automation and improvement of recurring reporting processes.
• Enhance data quality, governance, and reporting consistency across the region.
• Provide troubleshooting support and resolve reporting or data-related issues.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline manual reporting processes.
• Translate business requirements into technical Power BI solutions and dashboards.
