Principal Project Manager (Manufacturing Industry)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Lead multiple technical projects from initiation to completion.

·        Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

·        Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and workload allocations using project management tools.

·        Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams across operations and support functions.

·        Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

·        Ensure technical solutions align with business goals, quality standards, and project requirements.

·        Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management through reports, dashboards, and risk registers.

·        Manage budgets, resources, vendors, and project timelines effectively.

·        Promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

·        Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

·        Take full ownership and accountability for project outcomes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.

·        PMP certification required and at least 8 years of experience in technical project management or a related field.

·        Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

·        Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

·        Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.

·        Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·        Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and vendor management.

·        Strong manufacturing expertise, particularly in opto-mechanical assembly and machining.

·        Knowledge of ERP systems (ideally SAP S4 Hana) and usiness process integration.

·        Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

·        Resilient under pressure and results-oriented.

·        Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
