Product Manager (Macro)

Overview

Our client is a leading global multi-strategy investment firm seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of its Fixed Income and Macro trading technology platform.

The role covers the full trading lifecycle, including trade capture, asset servicing, books and records, risk and P&L, lifecycle processing, and exception management. Working across investment, operations, product, and technology teams, you will deliver scalable solutions supporting complex FX, Rates, and broader Macro workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the firm’s end-to-end Fixed Income and Macro trading lifecycle.

• Identify current-state gaps, future-state opportunities, and strategic priorities across trading, operations, accounting, books and records, risk, and P&L workflows.

• Translate complex business processes into clear product requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

• Prioritize strategic platform initiatives, tactical enhancements, and operational risk-reduction requirements.

• Lead the full product lifecycle, from user research and solution design through delivery, adoption, and post-release support.

• Own target operating model design, delivery metrics, UAT, rollout, change management, and user training.

• Partner closely with investment professionals, operations teams, engineers, and other stakeholders across the firm.
  

Requirements

• At least 8 years of product management experience within a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, or financial technology environment.

• At least 3 years of experience supporting Fixed Income and Macro products and workflows.

• Strong domain knowledge of FX and Rates trade lifecycles, cash-flow management, asset servicing, investment books of record, real-time risk, and intraday, daily, or monthly P&L processes.

• Experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology programs involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

• Strong ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented and control-minded, with a strong understanding of operational dependencies and risks.

• Experience building in-house asset servicing, lifecycle management, books-and-records, risk, or P&L platforms is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data modelling concepts would be advantageous.

• Experience within a multi-strategy investment environment involving complex fund, legal entity, and strategy structures is preferred.
