Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

i. Manage projects BAU systems (Email Management System)

ii. Ensure vendors delivered system functions as contracted

iii. Procure IT services required to support the on-going business operations

Governance Activities

i. Support audit activities such as IM8, VAPT remediation and internal audit reviews

ii. Ensure alignment with IM8 policy changes

iii. Ensure IT systems' BCP and IT Disaster recovery plans and systems function by performing yearly exercises

Essential Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines

2. Strong understanding of project management principles, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and system implementation methodologies

3. Experience managing outsourced software development projects from project initiation through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support

4. Experience managing vendors and service providers, including project planning, delivery oversight, performance monitoring, contract management, and acceptance of deliverables

5. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams comprising business users, vendors, technical teams, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

6. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage business users, management, and technical teams effectively

7. Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards

8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve project issues and manage competing priorities

9. Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments, with the ability to apply the appropriate methodology based on project needs

10. Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms

11. Experience managing government ICT projects, procurement processes, or outsourced application development and maintenance (ADM) contracts will be an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing cloud-based application projects, digital transformation initiatives, or enterprise systems would be advantageous.
• Candidates with certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) will be highly regarded.
• Experience working with AWS, Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), or similar cloud platforms is a plus.
